The open races were the first events of the day, they warmed the (frosty) course up for the team races yet to come. The invited Kenyan girls and boys teams dominated -- both managed a perfect score.
Coaches, fans & runners -- emotions run high during the team races.
For the second year in a row, a runner from the South region has won the girls championship race. Chelsie Sveinsson broke away from the pack around halfway and went on to smash the course record.
