Essentially a trail racing flat, the NB 100 (available in October) should be reserved for sure-footed, die-hard trail runners who want a low-to-the-ground feel. With a sheet of thin plastic sandwiched between the outsole and midsole, however, your feet are less prone to bone bruises than in a non-trail-specific flat. The airy uppers were made with the sockless runner in mind with few internal seams and a unique heel cushioning that provides both structure and comfort.
